Privacy Policy
Plain and simple: what we collect, why, and how to reach us about it.
Last updated: September 23, 2026
This policy explains what we collect when you visit launchdraft.net or contact us, how we use it, and your choices. We keep it short because we collect very little.
LaunchDraft is operated by Teresa Harvey (South Carolina, USA), who is responsible for the information you share with us.
On this page
1.What we collect
We only collect what you choose to send. When you fill out our Start a Draft form or email us, that is:
- Your name and business name
- Your email, and your phone number if you add it
- What you tell us about your business and what you want your site to do
We have no user accounts or passwords, and the website form itself takes no file uploads. You may email us content like your logo or photos, which we then hold. We don't knowingly collect sensitive information, so please don't send any.
2.How we use it
We use what you send only to:
- Reply and answer your questions
- Prepare your free draft and, if you sign up, build and look after your site
- Keep basic records of our work together
We never sell your information or share it for advertising, and we don't send marketing emails you didn't ask for.
3.Who else touches your data
To run the site and business, we rely on a few trusted providers. They handle your information only to provide their service to us:
- FormSubmit: your form submission passes through its servers on the way to our inbox.
- Google (Gmail & Google Fonts): we read your messages in Gmail, and the site loads fonts from Google, which may receive your device's IP address to serve them.
- Google Analytics: shows us aggregated visitor stats (page views, rough location). It sets cookies and shares this data with Google, who processes it for us. See "Cookies & tracking" below.
- Our web host: serves the site and may keep standard server logs.
- PayPal: if you become a paying client, PayPal handles your payment as our processor. We never see or store your full payment details.
We may also share information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights and safety.
4.Our use of AI
We use AI tools (such as Claude) to help design, build, and write content faster. To be clear:
- We do not use AI to make automated decisions about you.
- We do not sell or hand over your contact details to train AI models.
- It is a tool we use for the creative and technical work, like a design app.
5.Cookies & tracking
We use Google Analytics to see how visitors find and use the site (page views, popular pages, rough location by country or city). It sets cookies in your browser and processes this data for us. We use it only for aggregate traffic insight, not to identify you personally, and we run no advertising or retargeting cookies.
Prefer not to be measured? Block cookies in your browser or install Google's opt-out add-on. We'll update this page before adding any new kind of tracking.
6.How long we keep it
We keep non-client inquiries for up to 24 months, then delete them. Client records we keep while we work together and for a reasonable period afterward. You can ask us to delete yours sooner any time.
We limit who can access your information and use reputable providers to store it. No online storage is ever 100% secure, but we take sensible steps to protect what you share.
7.Your choices
You can ask us any time to:
- See what we have about you
- Correct anything wrong
- Delete your information
Just email us (below) and we'll take care of it.
Where you live: in California, you can ask what we've collected, request deletion, and note that we do not sell your personal information. In the EU or UK, you can access, correct, delete, or object to how we use your data. Either way, just email us, no special form needed.
8.Children
Our services are for business owners. The site isn't directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you think a child has sent us information, contact us and we'll delete it.
9.Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle your information, we'll update this page and the "Last updated" date at the top. Meaningful changes appear here before they take effect.
10.Contact us
Questions about your privacy, or want your information removed? Email douglas.launchdraft@gmail.com and a real person will get back to you.
This policy is written in plain English to help, not as legal advice. Where your local laws give you more rights, those still apply.
